A chocolate with a broken heart,
A symbol of a bitter start,
Of those who toil and break their back,
Yet suffer poverty, a brutal fact.
Their sweat and tears, unseen by us,
As we indulge in chocolate bliss,
Their dreams and hopes, we trample on,
Their dignity, too often gone.
But let us sweeten the pain they bear,
And show them that we truly care,
With fair prices and better pay,
We can change their lives in a meaningful way.
So let us cherish each chocolate bite,
And strive to make their future bright,
For every cocoa bean, a story unfolds,
And it's up to us to break the mould.
